I need some help from some of you Ray Roberts regulars. I work with a guy that's going out there this weekend with his brother. They plan to camp out and do some Cat fishing so where's the best place to set up camp? They will have a small boat with a trolling motor so it's important that they stay as close as possible to some decent fishing spots or a spot that offers good bank fishing.

I appreciate any advise you can give Glade is a good guy and I would like to put him as close to the action as possible.

I used to launch my 8 foot Water Spider at the Johnson Branch SP and fish the brush piles and up and down the Johnson Creek area on the North end of RR. Thats about all I know. I bet you'll get better or more exact info than that.

You are suppossed to camp on designated campsites there, but I have camped in the woods several times. Not much info for you about spots that are close to good fishing holes, but good luck. Ray Roberts is pretty, Ive seen lots of wildlife out there. There used to be good catfishing off of hart lane in the tank, but now all I catch is carp there.
