i actually waited out Ike in Rockport and visited the park with my kids during the storm. Rockport/Corpus got no damage what so ever from the storm.

I was just there last weekend and can tell you that the beaches were the cleanest I've ever seen them. I think the high tides from the storm actually helped the area.

Oct 10, 11, and half day today.
Bay fishing is very slow, except for black drum. When you find them slow down and you can limit out quickly.

Keeper Reds are scattered, one here and one there, some mixed in with Drum. Lots of small reds can be caught. We did not fish the jetties do to the wind.

Fished from Fence Lake to the north, Shamrock Island to the south, best bite came off Mud Island and in Big Slue.
