Obama has a keating 5 scandal memeber of his camp?
Might want to rethink that one. McCain WAS one of the Keating five. you might want to rethink that,John Glenn, who NOW works for Obama was a 5 er,and paid a hefty fine, McCain was only found to have used bad judgment,no fine no nothing..but I guess facts mean little to you..

BTW.. in light of committee appointments having been mentioned, Barack Obama is Chair of the Subcommittee on European Affairs. In two years, do you know how many meetings the junior senator from Illinois has called?

Yep, except that he was not present. In two years as a US Senator, he has walked the halls of the Senate some 145 days. Present? I don't think so.

Might want to rethink that one. McCain WAS one of the Keating five. It is very unlikely that he could qualify for a security clearance. Further, it is almost assured that he would not pass the investigation requisite to holding a commission as an officer of the United States. He has been on the Foreign Affairs Senate committee. Also the Homeland security and Homeland Affairs committee. No security clearance needed there. his past indescretions and associates would diqualify him from FBI,CIA, Local/state and Federal Police work, High level military security clearances etc... he gets a pass because he is an "elected" official!

Present.
Do we need a president who does not do his job and when faced with the tough questions, votes present. Now think...why would an elected official vote present? Do those who elect him send him to represent their views and interest, or merely to show up? Present? YGBSM.

At the very least some investigation from other than the internet and right wing conservatives might be prudent here? I know you don't see the truth. Only the bad side but in reality what EXACTLY do you know about Obama that would disqualify him? Implied knowledge in this matter is not acceptable, just like in real security clearance. PS, I had a govt security clearance and went through that process. In the aviation industry believe it or not.

That alone would have disqualified him for a security clearance when I was working at the top secret and above level.

I heard that from some law enforcement guys. I think it was described as "recreational use" when younger. Please define long term associations with terrorists. While they both worked on school reform they met at a luncheon? That sounds bad. They had 12 meetings as boardmembers for a non profit anti-poverty group. Now theres a national danger. Lastly there's the 200 dollar donation Ayers made to Obama's campaign. That has to send up warning signs.

In the 1960s and 70s, he was a leader in the notorious underground terrorist group, the “Weathermen.”
The Weathermen declared war on the United States government and they bombed over 30 establishments (leading to multiple fatalities, including police officers).

William Ayers
Ayers is unapologetic about his terrorist activities.

Obama remained friends and cohort with Ayers after that comment was made
How could a man like Obama associate with such a dangerous radical? And even defend him?
And now Obama, Ayers friend, could be sitting in the White House next year.
