cool! good info guys thanks

I'm going to Bass pro today and picking up some cheap ones and like 2 mojo decoys

Don't get too disappointed if you don't just wear them out right now. Dove season is in it's 6th week and unless you are in a really good spot, you may not see that many birds with or without the mojo.

That said, I love my mojo dove. I have "rigged" it to where it sits atop a 7' pole and runs on a 6 volt lantern battery, which lasts much longer the 4 AA's. I am convinced that as the batteries wear down and the wings slow down, they are less effective.

Good luck.

(Now if I can only figure out a way to keep my FIL from shooting it!!)

you're right but today I shot 10 doves lol

It took awhile to get them but they came in groups oF 5-10 and would come back and circle around the decoys even though I was shooting at them.

I bought 2 mojos and about a dozen of those clip ones. I spaced the mojos about 20yards apart and put the clip decoys in the middle.

You had better believe they work. They are a little shyer of coming to the mojos after they have decoyed them before. It will bring in a lot of 1's and 2's.

I put out 2-3 Mojo's. I've had doves land right in the middle of them several times.

You can see them start veering toward the decoys from 200-300 yards out. As long as you don't move or move quickly, they will generally fly right on in.

I tried a Mojo Dove for the first time a couple of weeks ago. They do work very well. I had several doubles land right in front of the mojo.

Had several way up high completely make a u-turn, and come right back to it - totally amazing. If I stayed still, they would come straight in but would flare if I moved and they saw me. On a scale of 1-10, I would rate the number of doves flying that evening at around 3. I managed a limit in a couple of hours and would say the Mojo increased my success by around 75% over what I would have killed without it.
