East Fork, Lavonia Park or Clear Lake Park are my favorites on the lake. Depending on which direction the wind is coming.

If your coming from Ellis County, forget Clear Lake.....it's down in the middle of the two arms so it would add a LOT of driving. Best bets are East Fork or Little Ridge. East Fork is protected from everything but a North wind. Little Ridge is at the power plant if that intrests you, and is protected from everything but a North West wind. North winds are bad for Lavon ramps as well as fishing. ( over 10-15mph anyway ). Hope this helps.

If you are on Parker take the Paul Wilson Rd. to get to East Fork. No signs telling that this is the turn to get to East Fork. There is a East Fork lodge at the intersection.

Didn't know about what Trickster said.....good for you to know! I live 3 minutes from Tickey Creek ramp so it's the only one I use, except this one time, at band camp, I mean a few years ago, when the lake was like the lowest it had been since Lavon was raised back in the early 70's, when everyone had to use one of two ramps that the Corp was EXCELLENT enough to lay gravel to , and they were two of the original 1950's single lane ramps, since all the other ramps on the lake were dry even at the end of the ramps, but most of the time , like I said, I use Tickey Creek. cheers

Jason, if the wind isn't too bad I may be out there. Probably launch at Ticky. Will probably fish the north row of timber. I'm in the Tan Crestliner 1850. If you see me stop by.

Hey anthonyhicks101,

I go out of Tickey on the weekends sometimes. If you see someone in a yellow/black basscat say hello.

What are you in?
