Opus,
I've heard Whitney is good for blues but never fished it for them. I've been wanting to for about a year now hammer. I think I'll give it a try this winter. I remember a year or so ago, Fox Sports Southwest Outdoors had Whitney as their "hot lake of the week" for kittys on one show. If I remember right they said that there's an area about mid-lake where two different creeks/streams dump into the lake on oppisite sides that was a good place for kittys. I'm going by memory and it's just not what it used to be blush. I hope this helps thumb.

The area you are probably reffering to is along the southeast side of the lake. Whitney Creek and Towash Creek both come in from the east. Just west of there you will find a road bed along with various other humps where the water will go from about 12-15 feet down to about 45 feet fairly fast. Find the bait fish along the bottom and fish from 1 click to 3 of the bottom. Best of luck and if want anymore areas to look in give me a shout.
