Prayers said!!!

I remember Sherry from the old Bass-N-Gals days. She had such an infectious "the sky's the limit" attitude and was such an inspiration to me. The positive philosophy that she and Sugar Ferris promoted through the Trail sticks with me today and has been invaluable in helping me guide my lure business in the right direction. I am praying for Sherry and her family.

Prayers sent. Sherry and Bill are great folks. I worked with them on the organizing committee for the first few "Rally @ Fork" outings that were the brainchild of a few folks that were hanging out on the "Bass Fishing Home Page" , a popular internet site (still is) before TFF became so popular. I also fished with her as a client, and she's as talented as there is.

My sincere prayer is that God looks over her thru this ordeal.

I don't know this lady at all, but reading the blog was heart wrenching

prayers go out to Sherry's loved ones.

I have known Sherry for many many years and when she quit guiding, she worked at hospital in Sulphur Springs and was over the safety dept.Being an engineer. this was right up her alley. sherry was always upbeat and her clients had a fun time when fishing with her as well as a very educational day. She definitely made a impact in the fishing industry. We used to laugh at her as she always referred to Bill as "my equipment manager." Sherry was just a tiny little gal and she drove her boat for all it was worth, we could always spot her running down the lake with that pony tail flapping in the breeze or most generally straight out. LOL I don't think Sherry really realized how much she is loved by all the folks in the fishing community. Our hearts and Prayers for her, Bill and family.
I do know she has fought this disease with all her might and Prayers. She is one tough little gal. God Bless Sherry.

Thank you all for your kind words and powerful prayers. We trully appreacieate the love and support the prayers brinig. I will read these messages to Sherry when she is awake aware of what is going on.

Sherry called Hospice on Tuesday of this week and has checked herself into that system.

John 14:2 tells us "There is more than enough room in my Father’s home.* If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you?* 3 When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am." Sherry's mansion is almost ready.

I am honored to have met Sherry at one of the early BFHP rallies on Fork. She knew no strangers there and was the center of attention. I won a guide trip with her, but unfortunately never got the chance to use it. I chatted with her a few times on Fork and always a pleasure. She is truly a wonderful person and I am saddened to hear she is ill. Prayers her way from my family.

I would bet the BFHP has many photos of the 2000 Rally at Fork.

Bill and Connie, I am really pleased that you guys came on this thread and offered your comments. Please keep us up to date on Sherry's condition. Those of us, whose lives she has touched, are very interested in her condition and pray for a miracle. Bill, this has got to be tough on you especially. We have special prayers for you too, there was nothing in Sherry's life and activity that she didn't acknowledge your backing and support. It seems that every story told about Sherry, includes your name in there as well. God Bless you, Bill.

Prayers for Sherry and Family

Thanks to you all for your continued prayers and uplifting support to our family during a very tragic time. Our mother is a strong, vibrant woman who took the world on and never looked back. Her life is being sapped from her in a way no human deserves. We thank you so much for your prayers and willingness to help. We have set up a memorial fund for Mom to help Bill with all the piling up medical bills. We will keep you posted on her condition via her blog.
