Does anyone know of some good hotels to stay at in Port Arthur. Hopefully close to some surf fishing or piers..Thanx.

Well, you would most likely have to come back to Beaumont to rent anice one off of I-10, but its within thirty minutes of Sabine Pass and PLeasure Island where that have been slaying the reds.
Walter Humphrey Peir is no longer there but I whent Saturday and caught reds from the shore, whent down the Norht Levi Road and only got to the first pipe on the road before I had to stop because the road is messed up bad, but the fishing was still good. Also Keith Lake Bridge is good fishing in the morning for reds and flounder with finger mullet.

Getting a hotel room in Port Arthur is close to impossible since Ike. Plus all the construction workers in town. Good luck.
