I have been fishing those 2 pounds for some time now, but last few times I went fishing was not that good, last year you could kill them there, but I have seen guys in there the last 6 months catching the bass and putting them in a 5 galllon buckets, last time I went whinch was back in spring I caught 4 dinks, last year it was easy to go after work and catch 30 to 40 fish in a cuple of hours, but like I said guys have went in there and have taken most of the good fish out, I will not lie here I caught one just a lil over 6 pounds there last year, but I took her home and put her in my pond behind my house, jUst for the reason I saw the guys taking fish out of there no matter what size they were, but there is still some fish in them just not like how it was, it is a shame to. that was a dang good honey hole for lunch hour or right after work.

The little pond that you can see from gus thomason was full of dinks the last time i was there. Maybe a year ago. The bigger pond was slow for catching. most fish were coming from under the brush around the bank. My biggest was 2 to 3 lbs. The guy next door to me runs his dog up there. Or he did until the police said the place is posted now. thats was early this year.

I will have to go by and see if they have it posted now, I have had no problems with police in there, but then again I park over in the bank parking lot and walk up to ponds from the back side, I know you cannot be seen from the bigger pond from the road, but you can be seen fishing the smaller one from the road, i have seen police go by all the time and I never have been stoped or asked to leave, but like I said in my 1st post it has been spring since last time I went in there, another good spot if you have not been is SAMUELL FARM off of hwy 80 just after beltline rd. it is catch and release only but I have had some good luck in the ponds over there, there is 5 or 6 ponds in the farm 3 is easy acess theothers ones are a lil tougher to get to and bank fish from.
