I already posted this in the trade section. Hope I might get a better response due to the request of purchase.
Looking to purchase(Have$$$) a14ft. Jonboat with running motor. Must have title for boat, motor and trailer. Nothing fancy, just a decent fishing rig for Catfish.
Willing to meet halfway if long distance. Or all the way if not over 200 miles.
Thanks Bittercreek.

Have you tried Craigslist? I see them on there all the time. Some guys are a little proud of them but a lot of them are priced cheap.

I know its piecemill but you could get all of it at Academy. They sell jonboats trailers and outboards. They may out of your budget range though.

They will be plentiful after duck season. There are a lot that get unloaded that time of year.

I would think for 4,000 you will get a real nice john boat!

You can put in what type of boat, your zip and how far your willing to travel, and how much your willing to pay. Just make sure it's legit, there's scammers everywhere including on craigslist.

Thanks to all for the response and advice.
Just purchased a 12'48" Lowe, with Minn-Kota 55lb.
Trolling motor; powerd by 5(4-stroke) Briggs&Stratton.
Trailer, seats, and running lights.
Old tired Bass-Fisherman (LOL) had it.
1500$- "will catch bass all day long1"-

Told him no Bass; he dropped the $!

Thanks for all the response, and too TFF, for
Allowing me too post.

For that price I'd watch around for an older CC or a bigger john, unless of course you're specifically wanting a 14' simplistic set-up for portability reasons or something. There's no such thing as too much room in a catfishing boat.
