Probably as, or, more important than, what is fished is where it's fished.
Bigger bream tend to hold much deeper than dinkies. If you can get it deep and past the pesky bait nabbers the chance of a big fish rises. At least that has been how it's worked out for me.
I agree.....any type of beadhead nymph is a bluegill killer. For that matter...just about any fly size 10 and smaller with a beadhead will kill the gills! They will also hammer smaller size woolly buggers too.

If 3/4 of the earth is covered in water and 1/4 is dry land than doesn't it stand to reason that God intended for man to spend 3/4 more time fishing than working?
I have been using grasshopper for the last four days in a row of fishing at my local pond and have been on the bluegills, big one little ones. I also caught some LMB and Catfish. Everyone like Grasshoppers He really like grasshoppers
