Will be taking the wife to Broken Bow OK area for some kayak fishing (preferably smallmouth). Anyone with any experience in that area (camping, cabins, put-ins, etc.)?

We are trying to determine if Eagle Creek is worth exploring, or just go with a safe spot on UMF and work our way up stream from Smithville area.

Thank you in advance for any help.

Broken bow, mountain fork is awesome. Just be sure to be aware of the release schedules on the river.

Looking at the UPPER MF River instead of below the dam...water is better suited for smallmouth up there I hear. Any experience on that part of the river?
