My topo map says it's an old rock quarry. Should have some deep water out there.
But no I havent fished it. You planning on heading out there?

used to fish out there in the 80's, there is tons of water scattered from trinity blvd to randal mill. we would go in off of old precint line rd.. any hole of water had bass in it, no matter how bad or shallow they looked. there where some big deep holes of water back there. still should be full of fish.

Took a buster back there a couple years ago. There are some dirt roads that lead to one of the quarry ponds. It is the older of the two sections that we fished and was cleaner. There was a plethora of gar back there. I only caught one small lmb in there, but I suspect there could be better fish. If anyone is interested in knowing how to get there, send me a pm and I'll tell you. I'd like to see what the fishing is like now, so I don't mind tellin' exactly how to access it. You'll need a canoe or bass buster type boat.

Used to be a 1 lane bridge back there, we used to go down there as kids, stop the car and tell this story passed on from the ages about "Screaming Bridge".
