Went Sunday and only caught 2 legal unders, one was $ size for the Splash. Not a lick of wind made it tough, how about any one else?

I'm hoping everyone else says it was tough for them also to make me feel better. grin

caught a LOT of 2-2.75 pound unders. just about everywhere we went. Wife caugth two overs on frogs early. biggest was 9.5 pounds and 24.5" long.. second was a long skinny 7 pounder. I later went back and caught 3 overs myself at the same place, biggest was 12.5 pounds.. getting a replica made of that one. FIshing was on fire!! we caught money fish everywhere we went.. downloading pictures right now. It was as easy as casting out and reeling in..

JUST KIDDING!! we were at Cypress struggling with 2 pounders smile fishing toughened up compared to last weekend smile

Didn't fish Sunday but had a good day on Saturday. Caught around 40 fish with 4 between 5 and 7 lbs. I think a total of 8 slots and our 5 unders went 8.13 - dead fish which cost us a check. Had that fish not died and we could have culled it, we would have been right at the 9lb mark.

They sure aren't jumping in the boat and having a good morning spot is critical right now in my opinion. We fished Saturday and had little over 5 something and I caught 2 over 5 w/ one being 23.5. She was one pitiful looking fish all beat up and sunken belly. Then about 5 cast later in the same area I caught another one that was a beautiful fish so it wasn't the area.

You can get out there and find them. In McD's it is hard to move around a whole lot but I wouldn't spend to much time in an area if you aren't getting bit...they seem to be grouped up right now. Also, there is a TON of shad in the grass right now.

Yes a 20' Bullet...has a slightly grey stripe and teal green flake interior. There was a 21' almost Identical to mine at Lake Fork Marina except he had a red rub rail and a newer Merc, mine is a Pro Max with Alien cowl.

Thanks, Yeah I live in Georgia but working out here on a new power plant. I attempted to register it here in Texas until I realized how much of a hassle it was going to be. I don't have a title on the engine ..... I spoke with a game warden on Limestone and he said as long as I can prove I'm here temporarily it would be allright and I could even keep a resident fishing licence so long as I didn't have one in any other state and I kept proof such as electric / phone bills showing I have lived here longer than 90 days or something.

Fished 2 hours Sat. morning, and 2 Sunday morning. 3 unders Sat. and 1 nice slot Sunday. Anyone else notice the lake looks like its turning over in some areas? Could be why its kinda tough.

Myself and Charlie (AKA..Bazztex) got out about 8 on Sunday fished till 7pm but not hard, caught between 30-40 nothing over, bout 6 slots. No wind early, but it picked up a little, later in the afternoon. We hit quite a few spots and caught fish on all but 1. Stayed on the Big Caney side the whole day. Lots of shad have moved back in the creeks.

LOL... You gotta have good reflexes when you use one that big, and one heck of a R/R setup,
besure to eat your wheaties.
The vibration form the blades alone cause my mooring cleats to come unscrewed and get loose along with a host of other aliments. rolleyes
