On the water before daylight. Beautiful sunrise on Tawakoni this morning but I could of stayed in bed.

Tried the normal humps - Marked a ton of fish but they were not interested. Found a lot of bait fish at the mouth of wolf and off the tip of finger point.

Final count - 1- 2lb blue cat, 1 - 1.5lb channel, 1 - monster sand bass, and 1 - tiny sand bass. I foul hooked the channel cat in about a foot of water and thought I hung the lake record.

Fun day - this is the 3rd bad trip in a row, I've heard Cooper has been hot. May have to go there next.

Sounds like a fun trip. I really like Tawakoni, I really look forward to hitting it when it gets a little colder.

the sand bass are still hanging out near the greenville pump station but they are stacked in the 10-14 foot range and no deeper- took a couple of neighbors out saturday and they had a ball catching them

Thanks KP - we found them stacked at the end of finger point. I could see a nice cluster on my humminbird but I could'nt get them to bite. There was another boat in the area that looked to be trolling a hell pet and they would catch a dink every other pass or so.

We got into some dinks crappie fishin' north of the 2 mile bridge but my T/M quit (d*mn batteries) before we could really get to 'em. There were birds working all along the creek channels.
