I have one and if you fish for big blues in water under 25 feet deep they are priceless. In water less than 25 feet with the scanner looking 75 feet out each side of the boat big blues stick out like a sore thumb once you know what your looking at. It takes some time to learn how to read it but I would not take for mine. I got one of the cheap ones for about $1000.00 and I could not be more pleased with it.
