Me too there's something about this tournament that's different from every thing else we do maybe it's the 20 hours of fishing or the relaxed but competitive atmosphere. If it's anything like last year it's going to be a great time for sure.

Yep Monte, I think this is one of the most fun tournaments of the year. I think this is a tournament that has a lot to offer ; Competition, 20 hours of fishing, bragging rights, being away from Tv,cell phone, or office, and doing what we all like to do. No negatives, all of this is a good thing. And by the way, I hope you and Gary win me some cash!!!!!

Its an all iron man, manly man style tournament. Its like the decathlon in the Olympics, the winner is called the best athlete of the year. Screw the one shot wonders, its all about the duration.

Round 1 is over it Took 17# something at EML we are off to worth.It seemed like it was pretty tough today for alot of us. My partner saved us from the big 0 with a couple keepers.There are a couple sacks in the 14 to 15 # range.

It was a long day on the water but I'll try to give an update to the best of my knowledge where the top teams stand. We will not officially know where everybody stands until we get to Grapevine in the morning.

There may be a few other teams in the same weight range or with a little less weight these are the guys that I know about.

It's still anybody's tournament to win and Grapevine could change a lot of things tomorrow depending on who finds the Big Bite.
