Fished yesterday from 4-8pm. First 3 quarters, lots of 6" sandies. Birds were diving and top water along the apartments near basspro. Then went looking. Then last hr, found nice school of hybrid and big sandies, top water at yankee creek. Kinda sporadic every 5 minute top-water til dark. Caught two legal hybrids and about ten under. Hybrids were kinda thin and long. Also, A dozen sandbass, one was 15" the rest were around 12". All hybrid released to grow bigger and fatter grin for winter fishing grin Cant wait!

Water temp 86 degrees, wind E 5-10 mph. Depth 7-25 ft.

Thanks for the Report. I can't wait to give this lake a try. Does the action seem to heat up as the cooler months start rolling in. Looking for a good lake to just concentrate on Hybrids. Have heard there are some big ones in there.

Glad to see you are back in town.

I pulled the boat out of the slip to wash off the bottom and to put some gas in it. Figured why not fish since I had nothing better to do!! Invited Varner and he was too busy so I went alone!! Started about 12:45. Found fish right away. Caught about 8 there. They were all keeper sandbass. Went driving around enjoying the lake and checked a few spots. On the way in I decide to check the east side!! WHOA!! Fish stacked up like crazy. All by myself and no one to share it with. I threw a buoy out and literally fished 35-40 yards radius of the buoy. Stacks and stacks of fish!! Here is a pic of what I left at 2:30 on my way in. Left them stacked up and biting!! Oh yeah final count was 54 and I know I didn't click a bunch. About 3/4 of the fish were quality sandbass and the rest dinks.

Shake&Bake, based on prior years...yes. And no jet fleas and too cold for trollers grin Yesterday two jet fleas ran thru the school and scared the fish but luckily the fish came back a few minutes later.

Jason, I didnt fish today. Got your number down.

Good job Ruben! thumb How come my graph never looks like that??!! I knew I shoulda fish earlier and follow that yello tahoe! grin My new work schedule, I am off every other Friday now, so more fishing woohoo!...so watch your back, hehe grin

Quockie, the next time you fish on my boat, it will be much better!!! Man, I got heat rash on that day, all over my back due to the heat and zero winds. It itches for days. Shoulda do a Big Cliff and took off my shirt! laugh

Ruben, great picture of your graph. I will be out of town for a few days, hope the fish are bunched up when I get back. It is about time some quality fish start showing up.

Guys don't let Superduck fool y'all!! I called him too and he was sitting on his boat dock....cleaning the boat!! Yea Right!! I told him the fish were in there like cord wood and he wanted no part of it. Said he had to pick the girls up from school at 3:00.. I get a call from him at almost 5:00 looking for fish!! Someone was in the Doghouse Friday night!!
