I couldn't find any ready made carolina rigs in tungsten, so I made my own. On the left is a BPS 3/4oz brass rig, the middle is my creation in 3/4 oz and on the right is my 3/8 oz version. I used a Tru-tungsten force bead between the sinker and the clacker. The wire is .031 in-line spinnerbait wire. The first attempt at fishing these will have to wait a couple of weeks until the boat comes back from the shop My only concern about these is that the small size may allow for more sinker hangups in rocks and trees.

You might want to try a bullet type tungsten weight to help with the hang ups also. I dont particularly like the ready rigs because they tend to hang up more but to each his own. I like to use tungsten and the force beads but on braid main like. I lose very few rigs this way.

I was thinking of putting a 3/16 bullet in front of the barrel weight to accomplish that. I tend to get more casting distance using a ready rig and I hang up less frequently, but those are big brass weights. This $3.00 rig might hang up more just because

I've got a bunch of wire rigs and a ton of weights so this will be a "work in progress" kinda thing... It gives me a reason to fish even more

I'm to lazy to do all that. I just Slide up my bullet weight and pinch on a bb size split shot behind it to go from T-rig to C-rig on the fly.
