Just picked up a Lowrance LMS 522c with internal antenna. The factory-loaded background map work great, but it only has a zoom range of 30 miles. i have a Hotmaps chip loaded, but I still can't get better than 30 miles zoom. It's like the machine is not reading the chip. Is there something that I need to do to activate it?

go to mapdata and look see what it say under map choice. make sure reading the lowrance. and make sure it out of demo mode. by hooking up the traducer.
