rwhag78 Green Horn Registered: 10/07/03 Posts: 10	I have not been there in several years. Is 3-mile cut sanded in? Well maybe it's been more than several years, because the last time I went the cut was open to the gulf.

I don't know about three mile cut but Greens and Cottons are still as good as they have been in the past. But beware that there is ALOT of boat traffic down there now. _________________________ I'd rather be fishing.

My husband is down there right now boarding up our place at the mouth of the Colorado River. The Matagorda sheriff's department told him that NO ONE would be allowed in after noon today, and that everyone had to be out by 6:00p.m. this evening. The water levels are already rising down there, and fast! _________________________ Fishing Goddess and PETA's WORST NIGHTMARE!

This is a big storm and regardless of where it makes landfall, most of the TX coast is going to be under water! I predict that IKE will make landfall between East Bay and Freeport. _________________________ Fishing Goddess and PETA's WORST NIGHTMARE!

I can ONLY IMAGINE was it looks like today! They closed the draw bridge last nite. _________________________ Fishing Goddess and PETA's WORST NIGHTMARE!
