How is the water looking down there? The surfcams look good but it is hard to tell about the clarity and color from them. A lot of us really appreciated the "Galveston beachfront" thread before it got saturated with nonsense from other posters. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

Galveston still a mess . I have heard they are rebuilding 61st pier and Gulf coast pier. If you go wading be careful their is barbwire and other garbage in the water on the beachfront . I do not think those surf cams are working anymore . Those are old pic s. The fishing has been great , lots of reds and specks and drum and a lot of flounder . But since I am handicapped I can not go till they build something I can fish from. I hope to start a new Pier Only report thread after they get the piers rebuilt.
