Well went out and ran the boat after setting up all summer. It started and ran just fine.
Checked a couple of places nobody home then looked at a shallow slope 10 to 18 ft. deep. Fish were on it . Small fish so me and Terry said lets find some bigger ones and we can run the boat some more. A rule should never break leave fish to find more or bigger. Needless to say we did'nt find anymore. Caught 13 only stayed out about 1 1/2hrs. Not very good but better than a skunk.
Will most likely go out 2 nd shift if proline22o wants to go. Will report if We go.

Glad to hear the boat ran well!!! And that rule needs to be chiseled into a stone tablet somewhere. No matter how many times we say it, we have all been burnt by it!!! Nice to see you reporting from Texas again.

Me and proline went out on second shift. Terry called as I was unloading boat and said D gilbert had called and had been hammering them for two hours. We got there and D said they just quit. Oh well ,went looking for them . Shad were everywhere on the east bank for two miles but no fish under them.Did not find any fish anywhere.

I don't know about going on Sunday, still alot of boat traffic. I even went Saturday, which I normally don't, and it reminded me why.

Every time they started to surface, jet flies and skiers would run right through them. I just said forget it.

Even the bass fishermen didn't even give a [censored] about us OTHER FISHERMEN, blowing by ya a 50+ mph at 30 yards away. soap

I really see no difference in the WOT mentality between bass fisherman and recreational boaters.

I see a potential difference, the bass fishermen SHOULD know better but yet it don't slow them down. They just look at you like your in the way loco.
