Im hoping what you read is the most accurate, truthful, and descriptive for sale posting youve ever read. For sale is my 1999 Triton tr-17. She has been mine for just over a year. You might wonder why I am selling already. I AM BUILDING A HOUSE. This is not some desperation move. She is not injured, and she has no issues. Just time to move things around. Shes 17 foot long with a merc 115 engine. On trailer from tongue to prop is 22 feet. It has been used in open waters since I owned it. Hardly ever taken to wooded areas. The engine casing has some rash where the previous owner backed it into his garage walls. The prop is a 24 pitch 3 blade tempest. The engine runs GREAT. Give it one pump and it starts on the first turn. I dont know the hours just yet, but I am going to take it to Rockwall Marine and figure that out. It has a minn kota 3 bank charger thats 8 months old, 3 batteries that are 1 year old, it has a new Automatic bilge pump. Its got some excess goo on the bottom from different transducers being installed. But other than that its cleans. It has two rear storage bins that will hold 7 plano containers (two extra if laid across the top). The live well is divided and the pump in and pump out work perfectly. As you will see in the pictures, the carpet located near the rear passenger side of the boat has a burn in it from a Fog light being used near it. The seats are in AMAZING condition. ONLY PROBLEM WITH SEATS; Some chartruese was spilt on the driver seat, but Ive been re-assured that it will fade out quickly. All the guages on the console work perfectly (gas, speedometer, rpms, battery power, Flasher) EXCEPT the tilt. It will work if the right piece is installed. All lights on the boat work. There is no hot foot. There are two rod storage boxes. The passenger side will easily hold 10+ 7 foot rods. I personally have had a 7'3 rod in it with no problems. The driver side rod box WILL hold 7 footers and hold 6'6 rods very easily. Other than the two rod boxes it only has 1 large front deck storage section. It currently holds 4 life jackets, a large tackle box and quite a few other items. Its a large storage area. The front deck carpet is in good condition with the same chartruese stains on them. But Ive been assured on here and by local dealers that it will fade out. It has an 8 month old Minn Kota 65lb thrust, 24 volt trolling motor. It obviously is in great condition being only 8 months old. The paint on the boat is in great condition. All scratches of any size are noted in the pictures. Only large scratch is near the back of the boat, passenger side, from a dock with a large bolt sticking out. The rest of the paint is beautiful and some members on here can tell you, it doesnt look like a 99. The boat HAS BEEN BEACHED a few times. Sometimes I am a single boater and have to beach. None of the scratches are anything deep. It has a keep guard. No cracks, leaks, or ANY issues of that problem with the hull or underside of the boat. The trailer lights all work well except for the front drivers side running light. Brand new bearing buddies. With a full livewell, fully loaded, with two passengers (175 lbs a piece) it will run 50. By myself fully loaded on a smooth lake I have been up to 54. One problem that I have been having... The locks on the storage compartments have been breaking. 3 are now broken. Im not sure how to fix these or I would have already. I have never had anything stolen off the boat, so I havent ever worried about it. ELECTRONICS: I have two new units on the boat. A humminbird 797SIc2 unit. It was a 1000$ unit at christmas time, and a lowrance 522 with the built in GPS unit. These are TOP OF THE LINE electronics. I think I have listed just about everything with the exception of my findings of the hours on the motor. I purchased the boat from Marine Marketers in Wylie, Texas for 12,500. Since then I have only upgraded the boat. I am selling her for $ 9,500.00 with all electronics. Here is a link to all the pictures plus some I will post on here myself.
