Have some tabs on it now, but they are set (not adjustable underway) and I currently have to move folks around to keep it from listing to a side when I'm up on plane. Anyone have any tabs they like /hate. All advice is appreciated...........

we've been using tabs on all our offshore boats. We have used both electric screw and hydralic styles. Both work equally as well, the electric screw is less maintenance. Especially when you look at maintaining another hydralic pump and hoses. There is not a whole lot of cost difference. But I will still buy the electric screw type for the next boat......

Trim tabs are great. The manual ones like you have were on a 22' walkaround I bought a few years back...they were worthless.

I've owned a lot of boats with hydraulic tabs. I've thought that they've held up very, very well. Replace the pump once every 10 years or so and that is it as long as they are installed correctly.

The Lenco electric ones that I have had friends use have mostly come as OEM tabs and they haven't held up all that well. I have seen several posts with people disapointed in them especially if the boat is stored in the water.

Good luck, my thought is that the hydraulic tabs from bennett seem to be expensive but bulletproof.
