Hey guys & gals, it is that time again, I'm gonna try to git the annual BBQ/campout on the books for October 17-19 at the Redbluff side of Steele Creek park!! Ya'll please try to make it up here again, it was so much fun last year having ya'll up here!!!

I'll try to make a day trip if I'm not working. We had a great time last year.

The park is a C.O.E park, but it does not have showers or electricity, but I have a large generator that'll run all the plugs that we'll need, the park is just down the lake a couple of miles from where we were last year, it has running water taps at each campsite. The boat ramp is a good concrete ramp in deep water, so there is not a lot of debris to worry about & the fishing in that area is great!! A few days before my surgery, I went with my son in law & we sacked up the sandbass & a few black bas too & even a channel cat!! I caught mine trolling in 7-16 foot of water with a sandbar close by on a 1/4 oz. Rattle trap! It is not set in stone yet about this park, but if need be, we can always go back to where we were last year, but this other park has great shade trees. I am open for suggestions to try to please as many as I can!

We'll be there. Kristy gave the A-OK! Don't know if we will be bringing the boat or not, if we don't we'll just spend the day and relax with y'all.

If ya'll wanna bring the boat, there is a great ramp right next to the campsite that &'m gonna get, the water is some of the deepest on Whitney too!!Either way, I'm happy that ya'll will be there!! Hope the rest of the BB can make it too!! See ya'll then, TLP
