Yup. Just have a bunch of extra water bottles and canned goods now! They didn't even cancel school! What a rip! Glad it wasn't another Rita though

Right now would be a great time to fish. The wind isn't that bad and there is a really cool "fall like" feeling in the air. If I could, I'd be out there.

Only got about 1 1/2" rain and some wind with limbs down. Only one night with wind enough to get any larger limbs, but got a few down. Made the wife nervous with them limbs hitting the roof, but not bad at all. Little branches with leaves every where, but nothing like it was supposed to be.

Still tying jigs and doing my thing.

Got some extra gas, food, water etc now.

Weather forecasting is educated guessing at best and no one can predict exactly where and how bad one will hit. The govt gets critizized if they do to little or to much. It's a can't win situation. I would rather that they error on the safe side. The folks that feel they left unnecessarily should just be thankful and go home. Could have been a lot worse.

couple cinder blocks on those downed branches, put on a ledge in 17' of water smile
