I think that would only attract more catfish. Good job on the condos. They do have a tendency to fall over with that design, which works just as well. I am really thinking about making my next ones into a pyramind with the concrete on each corner. We had a great lesson from Guy at the last CAT meeting. He says "never fish into the middle of a brush pile unless you want catfish". Crappie are always above and around a pile.

Very true! thumb I was at that meeting and it was a good one! I was actually thinking of laying them on their side but we will see. May tie some cinder blocks to the bamboo.
