If you want all the perch you want you need to go to Athens. Fished for Crappie last week but the perch would not let me catch any, tht bait would not get to bottom before a perch would take the bait.The were on every brush top on the lake.Come and gey these things off the tops!
Any size too em? Any BIG Redears? Whats the bait of choice?

If 3/4 of the earth is covered in water and 1/4 is dry land than doesn't it stand to reason that God intended for man to spend 3/4 more time fishing than working?
Athens has got to be the king of 'gills lake! Big as dessert plates and a inch thick. My brother and I will be there on 9/21 with flyrods and rubberlegged baits.
<break><break><break> <break> Athens 09/21/08, water temp 76*, 7:00am, light fog, no wind. Fish taking anything flashy or rubber legged on a 10-16 hook size. They were holding within 6" of shorelines and would hit the bait as it was slowly stripped back.
