Yea Grapevine is going to be the big question mark this year. Unders shouldn't be a problem, but how many of the guys are going to find the overs?

I doubt 8lbs per lake is gonna get it done. You better have a 10lb average. I feel good about every lake but Grapevine as it will be a hit or miss deal for us. Not too keen on worrying about a small limit of unders. Have to see where we are sitting that morning in the standings I guess. That was psychological Warfare I agree it may take more than a 10 pound average based on the way they have been biting lately. In the last 2 weeks it took over 16 pounds to win at Eagle Mountain, 15.5 pounds at Arlington, 12.5 pounds at Grapevine which is light for what it's done all year, and I'm not sure about Lake Worth but we all know what it's capable of producing. This could be a slug fest till the last lake and should prove to be 20 hours of awesome competition with a bunch of guys that are very familiar with every lake on the schedule.

Hey Monte, I think a good example came out of the movie Forrest Gump. It was something like---Fishing is like a box of choclates you never know what your going to get....Or Mark it might have been....Fishing is like a box of choclates you never know how many smiley faces you will get. Ok, Ok, just had to do that just kidding!!!!

With this great field of fishermen we may see some teams with over 40 pounds total. Good luck to each and every one of you.

Hi bassackwards Dav, I`m sorry to here that Vince will not be fishing this one. However Bob is really a great fisherman, he will do well solo, is he trying to find a replacement? If he can`t and needs help with that let me know.

Here i am!!! You guys are going to get smoked starting with tommorrow morning. If you only have 4-5 lbs at eagle mountain you will going to lake worth with a 13 lb deficit to overcome. Quinn is on them along with rachel out there so let the morning come quickly.

Monte, you forgot to add in lake worth's weight. We should have about 25 lbs after day 1. I found out that Donnie has been catching his fish at eagle mountain using bass traps loaded with CORN DOGS so we went ahead and loaded a few holes ourselves at the four lakes with MINI CORN DOGS. Sure was a little pricy but what the heck!

Yeah its really kind of a bummer!! It wasn't like Vince just decided Ehhhhh, I don't really feel like fishing anymore! He is up in Louisiana helping with the Hurrican relief after Gustav. I understand no replacements, but it just sucks because I would assume that part of the fun of this event is fishing with a partner.. Now his dad is stuck to fish solo and I am pulling for him to WIN!
