Does anybody have any information on Lake Limestone, especially relating to black bass. It's about halfway between my brother and I and we figured it would be a good meeting spot, but neither one of us has ever been to it.

A bit of a tough time for Bass on Limestone. Best bet is fishing docks and windy points.

Crappie fishing has been good.

The water level recently rose, I am not sure how that has affected fishing.

I second AlanR's assessment. Bass were good until several weeks ago. Crappie are good around timber in 12-15 ft. of water. I haven't seen many whites schooling lately, and the schools I have seen don't appear to have many fish. Catfish as always can be found on drop-offs or windy banks. Limestone has been a fickle lake for bass this year. It's been tough to stay on a pattern. The better boatdocks have been pounded so hard they're not producing much now.

THE AREA HAD A LOT OF RAIN LAST WEEK AND THE LAKE HAS COME UP ABOUT 2.5 FEET AND WILL BE CLOSE TO NORMAL. FISH VERY VERY SHALLOW IN THE NEW COVER WITH SPINNERBAITS AND WORMS.

This has been a tough year for me fishing, worse than others. Finally Tuesday morning I was able to find some fish along the shore near some rocks and grass. I think the water rising and cooling a little helped.
