Can anyone recommend a nice place to stay near Texoma on the Texas side? I am really looking to get up there soon for the first time and want to know of some nice places to stay for a day or so. I am really looking to get into some stripers, any tips for a first timer that does not want to hire a guide.

Thanks

Infamous,
I stayed here a couple years ago and was very pleased. They are a very nice Christian couple if it's available. They're not on the water but not far away. http://www.pappysparadise.net/

If not, here's a list of some of the places available.

I usually go to big mineral. you can camp or rent cabins. i think the cabins go for about $90.00 to $ 100.00 per night.
Here is the link you can check it out. good luck.

Get around the area where the Washita meets the Red River and work toward the dam and you'll find some action I think.
