That has got to be one of the coolest lizards I have seen. he must use that electric blue tail to get some tail. I posted pics of a Texas Spiny Lizard back in May. http://texasfishingforum.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/topics/2304487/Re_My_new_neighbor#Post2304487 Havent seen the guy all summer until just last week. Nice neighbor you got there.

Think the more accurate name is a Five Lined Skink. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Five-lined_Skink

skinks are AWESOME lizards. Last year, a huge Broad headed skink was sunbathing on my porch. Is was probably 6-7 inches long. It had a olive green body with a BRIGHT RED HEAD. I had never seen one before. I actually thought it was poisoness because of the head, did a little research and they are harmless. Although, they are VERY territorial supposedly.

COOL PIC!

Those are the same ones we brought back from Oklahomo and they cross bread with the regular uglies down here east of Dallas. We have tons of them with blue tails now. However i only see the really big ones with the standard colors for some reason.I was going to write the following ....... To me a big one is about 13-16 inches long and about 1 1/2" across but I know better than that now after talking to my girl friend she said that seem smallish. LMFWAO hahahahahahahhaahahahaahaha I knew someone here would have jumped all over that measurment...

That's a common ground skink. Scincella lateralis. The first one is some sort of Eumeces, probably fasciatus.
