Glad to be back on the net. Our computer finally crapped out on us, so we had to break down and get a new one.
The lake has come up about half a foot from the rain. We are still 6 inches low. Was hoping it would fill up. I know it dumped buckets on us Tuesday out there. Water clarity didn't change much where I am fishing. Neither did the fishing. It has been really good the last couple weeks.
Most of the blacks we are catching are still on the carolina rig. Using a watermelon/gold or watermelon/red lizard. Did have a few this week on a 10inch watermelon worm. A bone colored Vixen is taking a few fish as well. I am still seeing some schooling bass. For the most part they are smaller fish, but fun to catch. Shaky head is still producing as well. I am using a Yamamoto cut tail worm in watermelon/gold.
The sand bass are still schooling like crazy. Main lake points from Johnson Branch around to the marina, is where I have seen most the action. Friday I cleaned 73 for my clients. We stayed on one school for 3 hours around from Cates. When schooling I am using a clear baby torpedo. Just watch your hooks. They have a bad habit of coming unscrewed, when you are catching a bunch of fish

Give me a call and we can go fishing.
Thanks
Dannie
