For anyone who shops at Barlow's Tackle in Richardson, they are going to change hours and no longer be open on Saturdays after this weekend.

As of 25 August new hours will only be M-F. I think that they'll stay open until 6:00 PM but better call ahead just in case.

I guess it is mail-order for me now. It isn't easy for me to get up there before 6pm. I guess it is just as well - they keep most of the good stuff in the back. And their prices are better than another vendor with a similar product line, so shipping AND tax shouldn't hurt too much.

Last time I was there, I heard that 95% of their bidness was catalog and internet. They might as well take off Saturday and get some fishing done.
