Texoma will start to rise this afternoon (8-20-08)and should rise for the next few days so watch out for floaters out on the lake,Lots of water coming down the Red.
I don't fish the lake this time of year but if you want to see some big water and catch some very strong pulling fish I have a few days open from now till the 15th of September.
Shark trips have been producing all the 4-6 foot sharks you want to catch and offshore trips have been producing big snapper,ling,kings, and a few other fish.

Has the seas finally laid down?

I know most this summer it has been pretty rough...with a calm day being 2-4' seas.

I have been here since the 1st of August and have had a few nice calm days but most days have been 2-3 foot and some have been 3-5.We have been catching good fish in close so no long runs in the rough water.That is a long run to the gulf from Seadrift I would probably trailer to POC if I was staying in Seadrift.
