Cabelas is having a pretty good reel sale right now. $10-20 off of most Shimano reels. Not bad.
The real steal is with Quantum reels. They have the Accurist PT (retail $129) for $79 and the Tour Edition PT ($239) for $129. I bought one of the Accurist PTs and took it for a spin on Friday night in Galveston fishing the lights. Worked fantastic. Casted a mile, smooth right out of the box. Spooled with 14lb Gamma Copolymer, and I only had 1 backlast, which was NOT the reel's fault. Good drag.
Check it out. Solid deal on the Quantum reels. So so on the Shimanos.
