Well if keith schoolcraft or Captain John takes you out you are going to have one heck of a trip. I have worked and fished with both captains many times and both know how to find lots of fish and big ones too. Hope all goes well wish I was going too. As for the sea sickness I second SkeeterRonnie stay away from greese and acidic foods try eating oatmeal or pancakes with no bacon the mourning of. You should be able to bring your own water and drinks in a small soft side cooler also bring along some salty snacks and what not. As for fishing gear get you some snapper slappers, diamond jigs, and dont be afraid to get some skirts that a 1/2 ounce weight will fit in to go over your ribbon fish for kings. If you come to Bass Pro in Garland before you leave I can set you up with just about everything ask for James.
