Had Jim and Norman with me yesterday morning and this morning for some good cool weather crappie fishin. We ended up yesterday with 36 nice keepers and several catfish all caught on brush in 16-18 ft. of water. This morning we went out in the rain and had a slow start until we started looking shallow and found some really good quality fish in 12-14 ft on brush and ended up with 40 nice slabs with several in the 1 to 1.5lb plus range. Seems like this cooler weather has triggered some better fish into biting this past week. Didn't get a pic of the big slabs from today as it was pouring down rain when it came time to clean em but here is a pic from yesterday. Thanks again!

I have been down here for 2 1/2 years, working at a church as a youth pastor, and fishing every chance I get. Our church has a bass club, so I can't complain about that. what you up to these days?
