Had a club tourney this past weekend on amistad, and had some bad luck... Missed weigh-in thinking it was at 11:30 when it was at 11:00 and got rained and blown (20+mph wind) off the lake at 5-8:30, split the times so we wouldnt fish in the heat of the day.
Sunday morning was still raining and my partner didnt wanna fish in the rain so we waited it out and hit the water around 11:00 and had a good day overall...

for the tip on the outter edges of the grass!!!
Here are some pics of some of the better fish... Caught on a main lake point that had a flat next to it and had grass all the way out to 22ft deep working the edge... Came on a "Baby E" swimbait bluegill in clor... est 5 pounder
This one came in about 18ft of water in the mouth of a pocket that 2 creek channels on each side that met and made a y and had a small road bed that near it... Caught on a Yamamoto green pumpkin kreature bait t-rigged.. est 7 pounder
