Come on folks, let's go fishing on Sept. 13 for a 40 hour fishing trip out of Port Aransas, Dolphin Docks. Boat leaves at 11 p.m. on the 13th. A buddy and I have signed up...it only costs $292.00 and this is the best fishing time of the year. Even though Red Snapper are illegal, we'll catch plenty of other species...I've been on this trip for the past four years and it's awesome fishing. All meals are included. The Feds are going to put the party boats out of business, because of their ridiculous regulations. Let's battle back and save the party boat fleet and help them survive..and we'll have fun on the boat as well. Dolphin Docks 1-800-EYE-FISH P.S. More anglers are needed in order for this boat to run.

Will the Deck-Hands, and those onboard respect my family; or will it be an excuse to go get drunk?

I would expect on this trip that you wouldn't have to worry about people getting drunk. There are alot cheaper excuses for a reason to get drunk. Maybe on a 12 hr trip for 80.00 but not normally on a long trip like this. People willing to pay this kind of money are there to fish. The deck hands normally are very helpful and if someone gets out of line, they will be asked to behave or quit fishing. I wouldn't worry about it on a trip like this.

However, do be prepared to shell out a small fortune for drinking water while onboard - that isn't included with the meals ...

Well, I've been on many of these trips...ran into one drunk. He was drunk on the way out...never saw him again until boat docked 40 hours later. Don't think he got his money's worth. About the slow boat. It's the Dolphin and it's slow, but that's good nap time until fishing commences. And for bottled water, soft drinks and beer...yes you do have to purchase them, but price is not out of line at all. Let's go.
