How is it down there right now. Hope the winds have decided to drop below the 40 mph range. I will be down there the 28th thru the 3rd of Sept. Planning on a little offshore fishing. What about the king fish, are they still in pretty close.

I have been down every weekend since the end of June and have caught a bunch of kings within 5 miles. I'll be down there until the end of October, if you want to hook up and do a little fishing.

Thanks Bullit, I just might give you a call when I get there. Every time I have been down there this year the wind has been blowing so hard you can't get out of the slip.

Well I hope Gustov stays East of Port A. Don't want my boat to wind up out on the highway somewhere. Think we will go anyway and just see how the fish re-act to a Hurricane. Port A here we come.

Went out with Captain Terry recently out of Port O'Connor.
Was a good trip... I really like the new boat he bought. WorldCat 34' with twin 300's.
We went out about 65-70 miles for tuna when we could keep the Shark and the Bonita off the line. We landed some good sized tuna (25lb - 35 lb) and it was a good day in all.

Well we finally got to go out for a while without a 40 to 50 MPH wind. Caught 5 real good kings Friday. Went out Sat. for a while was drifting for Kings and the Port side motor just shut down. Limped it back in on one motor and finally got to the dock. Have Ya'll ever tried to park a 46 footer in the slip with one motor. It can't be done. Got her to running Sunday Morn. Got her out in the channel again, put her on pad and she shut off again. Turned around put her back in the slip and called the mechanic. Hope he gets her to runnin cause we really want to get back down there. Hey Ronnie the pooper works great though.
