Yam, go to either Eureka Springs and/or the White below Bull Shoals and Lake Norfork. There are a lot of motorcycle tours that head to Eureka Springs. Real interesting roads to ride with great scenery. Really good trout fishing on the White or Norfork Rivers. Stay at Gastons and take a float trip for rainbows and browns. Guides can furnish equipment, so you don't have to pack a lot.

I second the Natchez Trace Parkway. Beautiful drive..would have been a lot more beautiful if I didn't have to endure it with a certain person and her family..sure was pretty in January though....

Colorado!!! I rode there in '95. Co Springs is the place. Ride up Pike Peaks, camp, fish, and enjoy the scenery. I've done 7 road trips and if I was healthy enough I do the CO trip yearly.

You like shooting? Ride up 287 North to Raton New Mexico. NRA has a wonder rage there that covers 500+ acreas. Ranges from everything from BB guns to .50 cal BMG. Every 4th July weekend the Internation .50cal BMG has their competition there. Spend a day or two there in that area (see Mountain Goats, Big horn sheep, antelope + more) Then proceed to CO Springs.

If you do go to the NRA range look in the Lobby area, They have my picture there from when I set a world record shooting 3500 yards (Yep 2 miles) had a 8.82 inch group of 3 rounds out of 5 shot.

Most definitely..Or go to Pagosa Springs. Relax in the hot springs, fish in the San Juan River, drive up to wolf creek pass..

Mount the cycle on a treadmill. Rig it up to drive a generator. Plug in a big screen TV. Ride to your hearts content, safely.

I support Eureka Springs. My wife and I honeymooned there and they are EXTREMELY BIKER FRIENDLY. ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL drive there and back; lot's of twistie's to ensure a slow ride.

Mt. Nebo State Park, Ark. Twistiest steepest road in Ark. Motorists pulling trailers are not allowed its so twisty. Gotta ride that road if you going to be by that way.

Grapenut has a good suggestion...

The Hill Country Area is a beautiful ride... many come here for the "Three Sisters" RR 335, 336 & 337 and Leakey is basically in the middle of it all... You'll see a lot of bikers here just for the ride...

Utopia, Vanderpool, Medina, Bandera, Concan, etc etc have some amazing views of the Hills.. and then there's the Frio River which is another Beauty!

check out my sig for pics, accommodations etc for the area.. we also run a site catering to bikers for at HillCountryRider.com

Let us know if you ever have any questions.. we would be happy to help.

Take Care,
