Not for the squeamish. Guy gets a hook to the face and looks like his friend is trying to get it out the push through a cut method. Made me groan every time he messed up. That hook must be duller than a butter knife.

Now that my friends is what you call TAKIN' IT LIKE A MAN! He didn't even flinch the 10 TIMES that guy slipped with the hook!!! I would have passed out.

That was tuff to watch...

I've got two words for that one " JACK DANIELS" and plenty of it. I swung a fish with a pop r in its mouth right into my leg. My cousin dug it out of my leg the same way this guy removed his. Your skin is very tough and it hurts right at first but after the adrenalin kicks in you just want it out.

Ouch.

i had to do that this weekend...got 2 hooks from a trble hook in my calf past the barb...really wasn't too bad...the thought was worse than the actual thing...the only thing i could compare it to is someone constantly pulling on your leg hair

I had four of six barbs of two trebles in my leg, two above the knee and two below ,I never felt a thing when they went in ,I thought the lure just brushed my leg. They were a real pain to get to push through ,It took all my strength to get them to go. This was the second cast with a new lure and they werent dull.

OUCH!

Sounds like skin is tougher than it looks. Anyone remember a movie "A Man Called Horse"? If you do, you know what I'm talking about!

THAT GUY MUST BE FROM TEXAS. I GOT HOOKED IN THE FOREHEAD ONCE BUT LUCKILY MY SKULL PREVENTED THE HOOK FROM PENETRATING PAST THE BARB.

Wow! I would have punched that dude every time the pliers slipped! OUCH!

He must have been drunk as !@#$. He did not even flinch. One bad dude!

Three lessons learned from the video:
1. Alcohol is a great anesthetic.
2. Wear impact resistant glasses (because he wouldn't have been so brave if the hook had landed one inch higher and to the right).
3. Bob Dylan sucks no matter what the situation.

I got two hook from a vibrax in the left eye brow a couple of years ago -past the barbs. I think I would have been fine when it hit me if I hadn't jerked back... that's what set it. It took about 2 minutes and a buddy with a leatherman and we were back in business. I pay damned close attention now
