I do not like them - too hard to get the line back through the pole if / when it comes out. I have 2 of them for downrigging.

Save your money and just go with a standard pole with eyes!

i have a couple and like them. they cast well but you gotta keep the moss and grass out of the tip.

Daiwa used to make one of these and they still do in Japan, in Japan the TDX line of rods has one of these in it. The Daiwa version casts far and is very sensitive but I dont use the one I have anymore, it just got old and the cork is nasty so I retired it LOL. Get one and try it, you might like.
