Does anyone own this model? I read a topic on TFF about the sale and their was some comments on the Quantum, but nothing about the E760PT itself. I was looking to purchase one. Can I get some feedback? Thanks

I have one and lookin to get more. They cast great, look great and haven't had a single problem. They are incredibly smooth.

you better have some pretty stout for arms cause that thing feels like a brck in your hands..... well compared to my revos and HSTAs. its a good reel though if your fishing moving baits that dont call for a really light reel. i had one but sold it and bought a HSTA. im glad i did

i have one their awesome a little heavy but excellent reels. ask KVD if hes won any money on them

Geez the Revos SX are 8.7oz Revo S is 8.6oz the Revo STX is 8.8oz. The HSTA is 8.5 The Energy is 9.5 oz Is an ounce that big a difference? I think there is another thread concerning reel weights.

i just bought 2 of those reels tonight and will try them out tommorrow night on martin creek.

yeah i wrote that one, there not heavy at all depending on which rod you use though, any good quality rod you wont even know the difference. i love it

i just got two and really like em so far.

They're a great reel...for a little while. Quantam seems to have poor quality reels, at least the few I have owned. I've owned the KVD reel all the way to the Tour Edition PT, all fallen apart on me. Wasn't very pleased. I'll stick with Shimano from now on.

And heck, if I could get them by the dozens for free like KVD, of course I'd fish with them!

i think their a great reel if you take care of them a little bit.

Any first impressions?

I bought one last night, not sure if it was a return or something like that. All that was in the box was the reel and the manual. On the side of the box it had at least the "Hot Sauce" Lube under contents.. This makes me think that it was a return and whoever returned it kept it. Can someone who has bought one tell me what the contents of theirs was? thanks

I have bought 6 of them since the close outs started, two each at BPS (this was a Cabelas price match), Dick's and Academy. Every one only had the reel and the manual. None of my boxes have a list of contents. The listing on mine are the specifications and one line says "Hot Sauce Lubrication". I take that to mean that the reels come from Quantum lubed with Hot Sauce, not that Hot Sauce is included in the box.
