I would believe none of them. They are sales men. If you want to catch fish let the fish tell you what they want.

i think hank parker is the most honorable out of these 3 . he seemed like a good ole country boy when i used to watch him many many years ago .although i like dance , he was very imformative , roland martin comes in last . my 2 cents

Hank would be first. I have seen him give good advice that did't involve shillin a product and he also fishes public lakes, not just private stocked water.

None of them. Dance will do anything for a buck, and so will Martin. Parker seems o.k., but I don't like it when people try to sell me a product. I like the product to sell itself by producing and working well.

Hank Parker, maybe...

Bill Dance forgot what it was like to fish in the real world years ago.

Roland Martin would try to sell you anything as long as he's get a kick back.

All of them are producing a tv program to inform about fishing, fishing products, and promote themselves. Endorsing sponsors products is how they make their living. In the strictest sense of the word they are personalities with reputations that sell products.

I am not fond of Roland Martin cause I see him he is fishing out of an air boat.

I can't remember Hank Parker or what he sells.

I been watching Bill Dance ever since he started his shows.

You have to realize that unless some one got paid to endorse new products you will never hear about them.

I would probably listen to Hank. Bill's pond shows drive me nuts. Whatever happened with Orlando Wilson and his shows?

Hank Parker is the only one of the three that I have ever seen recommend a product that wasn't one of his sponsers.

Most if not all of you have fallen for the sales pitch. Maybe not from these guys. Personally I fell for the Dancin eel and dancin craw from Dance. The Hank Parker spinner bait and the dumbest lure from Martin, the helicopter lure. But who didn't fall for the subliminal pitches from pro anglers about the Sweet Beaver, the Bastrix, the Sebile swimmer, and so. So for me, yea lure manufacturers count on us to buy their product by sales pitch or word of mouth. Just some stand the test of time and others end up in the "dang I was a sap" drawer!
Oh yea I got the top water with the string that flutters when you pop the lure, and the Banjo minnow.

Very well said.

As a kid growing up bass fishing I caught literally 500 fish with a Banjo Minnow. It was my go to bait and I fished the hell out of it.I came across an old tackle box the other day and it still had a set I had from when I was 16. I could still catch fish with it today. I didn't know any better I was a kid but it caught me many fish including a 6lb fish when I was 14 years old in a 3 acre pond. I may actually take it out tomorrow to a pond and see how I do with it smile

It's not really any different than some guy coming on here raving about how he caught a 10lb fish on a rattlesnake. Or for that matter people using a specific crankbait or shaky head rig because a pro recently killed it on one of our local lakes.

I get a kick out of those guys TV guys. They were kicking butt back before we had the choices and techology we have today. They've earned the right to sell whatever they want on whatever private ranch they may own.

My .02.

Who all here doesnt work to make a buck??? People bash these guys for promoting products..THATS WHAT THEY DO FOR A LIVING!!!

Just like KVD, Ike, or any other pro fisherman...thats where the $$$ are. Yes some products are a further stretch than others but the guys are doing their job in promoting them.

The three mentioned have proven themselves over and over on the tourney trail I dont think they have to now on their TV shows.

OH..and by the way that CMERE deer is a JOKE!
