Dear Friends and Fellow Jugliners,

EVERYONE ! gathering time on buchanan, get your spot......

Time is drawing near for our JOT Buchanan Lake event. Thunderbird Lodge will be asking for a deposit soon so I will need everyone that is coming to send a check to cover the cost.

We have cabin 19 reserved at the Thunderbird Lodge which sleeps up to 25 people and has a large living and dining area. You can check it out at this website: http://www.highlandlakes.com/tbird/. The total cost per person for two nights will be about $62.16 if we have 20 people show. If we have 25 people the cost will go down some. Please send me a check for $50 per person as a deposit to reserve your spot at your earliest convenience. Address and phone # are at the bottom of this email. Room / bed preference will be determined by the order of checks received, i.e.: the first check gets first choice and so on...There are a limited number of beds, but plenty of floor space for an inflatable mattress. I will take the floor with an air mattress as will some of the other Temple guys.

Plan on arriving the sometime on Friday, October 24th. We will set jugs and fish Friday through Sunday morning. All the meals will be provided by the Temple Bunch. Just bring your snacks and drinks. If you are bringing your boat, please let me know. Some folks will be coming without a boat and will need to partner with someone that does.

is there any lake Buchanan fishermen here? this will be a great time to visit and get to know the guys from this lake.

you can do any kind of fishing you want , but we mostly jugline, there will be plenty of food, and b/s at night.
Anyone want to learn the art of juglining come on out, we gonna have some fun

there is cable in the cabins, owner is ou fan. come on and go.

I know the owner is a OU fan. I met him several years ago there. And I love to jug. didnt know that was an area tho that had a lot of catfish

there will be guy's there that jug the lake often.

we have about 12 guys going, we need more there is room for 25 people in the main bunkhouse, so come on out, learn or teach how to properly jugline.
