We just bought some land in Oklahoma with three ponds on it. The biggest of which is about 4-5 acres. Anyways the owner said that about twenty years ago her Father built it and Oklahoma said that if someone built a pond that is suitable for catfish to breed than they would come out and put 200 catfish in it for you. Well that happened and no one has fished it in over ten years. It always had water in it since it is spring fed. Im going to fish it for the first time tomorrow!

Congrats!!!

You might want to check out www.pondboss.com and use it as a valuable resource to help you manage the ponds. Enjoy...nothing better than fishing in your own pond!!

Do you need some campany. I would hate for one of them to pull you in the water.
