I'm trying to help a friend out that has a 17' Mako c/c. Has bubbles in transom and cracks on the bow fishing platform.
Would like to get an "honest" estimate on what needs to get done.

King in New Braunfels is excellent.

Gemco up here in Kingsland is really good also, he won't do flake, but regular gel coat is fine.

i'll second david king, but he works through dealers, does AMAZING work, take it to master marine, they don't mark his work up in price, kinda like scratch your back you scratch mine deal over there, see josh or mike to get a quote.

The old boatman tells me Steve Robaseaux is the best.

I just dropped mine of at Steves in Seguin this morning. I chose him becuase of another recommendation and not having to go through a dealer.
